Experience the World at Disney World!

True to its name, visiting Disney can feel like taking a trip around the world without the long plane rides or the hassle of planning a trip that might cost you a small fortune (read my article on planning a Disney Trip on a Budget). Prior to visiting Disney, I had no idea that you could get a bird’s eye view of the world just from visiting Epcot Center or even staying in one of Disney’s Resorts like the wonderful Animal Kingdom.
Kidani Village, located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, offers guests African-inspired details and home-like accommodations and amenities. Many vacation villas also feature sweeping views of an expanded savanna inhabited by a variety of African animals. During my stay at the Animal Kingdom, I couldn't believe it when I saw giraffes right out side my window! And taking home Disney souveniers that were made in Kenya, was priceless!
Among the many attractions you will find at the Epcot theme park, is the World Showcase area. World Showcase is a collective of Pavilions that wrap around the World Showcase Lagoon. Inside the Pavilions, find shops, attractions and restaurants that represent the culture and cuisine of the 11 countries listed below. I personally took a trip to Japan a few years back, but when I discovered the 'World Showcase' I thought this was the perfect vacation trip for a familly wanting to plan an International Trip on a small budget! What I love about the world showcase is the fact that the Disney Cast Members for each country are all native residents to the courntry they represent, which really gives the experience an authentic look and feel.
