A Better Today Brings A Brighter Tomorrow is a unique
resource for parents of color in New York City. It includes
a close look at the many non-profit organizations that
facilitate the acceptance of gifted minority students
into the best New York City schools. In addition it
contains informative descriptions of academic programs
outside the school system. The sum total of these descriptions
is an extensive list of organizations with services
ranging from: after school tutoring, pre-college preparation,
mentoring, talent, summer opportunities and career training.
Everyday parents just like my mother, and possibly even
you, attentively listen in on a sea of conversations
in the hopes of finding some positive influence in their
children's lives. Out of respect for my mother's efforts
and in an effort to help others as I was helped in the
past, I present to you an extensive list of free/affordable
NYC-based enrichment programs designed for students
of color.
ABT2 is an msoy original project. Multiple Shades Of
You Online, (msoy), started out as an online eZine and
evolved into a multi-purpose organization aimed at creating
and promoting positive resources for people of color.
